Description:
Approx prices: Morning 3hrs 210euros, 4hrs 240euros Afternoon 3hrs 140 euros. All day: 340 euros.
I have been living and working in Val d’isere for over 14 years. I am a qualified International Ski Teacher with BASI qualifications (British Association of Snow Instructors). I enjoy all aspects of skiing and teaching: from beginners to skiing in the bumps or carving! I have many private clients who come back year after year. I believe in making the learning process fun, yet simple and challenging. I am keen to help people with their skiing skills so they can enjoy the mountains and all that it has to offer.
I love teaching adults or children and have had some great success with nervous or anxious skiers! Book private lessons, for yourself or split it with friends and family, there is no better way to improve your skiing and confidence. I don’t believe in large groups where you learn little or nothing all week. Your private lessons will be the highlight of your holiday. I will also video you so we can really analyse your skiing and improve your technique.

Feedback:
"Our daughter’s huge smile at the end of every morning sums it all up… We have been delighted by her progress on skis but, just as importantly, she has discovered with Liz the joy of the mountains and a love for the sport which will last her a lifetime. The only problem with spreading the word about Liz is that we risk not being able to rebook!
As parents, we have complete trust and confidence in Liz. We ski safe in the knowledge that our child is being extremely well taught, is having the greatest fun and could not be in safer hands.
Thank you Liz!
When our young daughter was warmly complimented on her skiing last year by a passing Instructor, we knew whom to thank!"

"I would like to say that as a person who likes to ask many many questions, that Liz was totally patient, and increased my confidence no end. My skiing was much better as a result of her tuition, and I hope to go back to Val d'Isere to continue my progress under her guidance, as I feel that she will take to another higher level. A good teacher is important, as she instils confidence in me, and confidence is vital in skiing."

"Liz is an instructor with the ability to put even the most nervous skier at ease. Starting to learn to ski at the age of 39,I was not at all confident that I could, or wanted to master the art! A person who likes to be in control, I found it very nerve-racking with my feet strapped to two planks which had a mind of their own. Liz has a calm manner and has patience that a Saint would be proud of .
She is a very experienced skier and can teach at all levels confidently from beginner to black run enthusiasts.
I found it very comforting to have an English speaking instructor as overcoming the language barrier would have delayed my progress further. Liz took me out of my comfort zone only when she felt I was able to achieve what she was asking and would take me back a step if she felt I was faltering or my confidence was suffering .Most of all she showed me that skiing can be fun.
I am soon to go back for my third year running so she must be doing something right ."

"Liz, thank you for teaching us to ski. My sister and I like the private lessons with you much better than group lessons, because we learn a lot more. We had a great time. See you at Easter."

"Hi Liz, thank you for being so nice to us. I can ski faster than mummy now. Next year I want to learn how to ski faster than Daddy. Sophie xxx age 8 next week."

"Thanks so much Liz for everything you did instructing Chris for the week. We see a real difference in his skiing technique and his confidence in tackling more challenging terrain. We feel that we can now ski as a family and all manage any piste together. Chris will continue to build on your fantastic teaching. When we are next in Val d’Isere, he will certainly want to have more lessons from you, but he’ll have to compete for your time with the rest of his family! We all think that we could learn from your expertise. Looking forward to our next holiday in your capable hands. It was such a pleasure to have met you."
